The ultrasonic anemometer is the latest system for wind measurement, it is based on the properties of acoustic waves that, while covering a distance, are influenced by the surrounding air movements. Such a system has an undeniable advantage: blades in motion are not used. Blades are subject to wear and to the influence of snow or ice that blocks or slows their movement while the ultrasonic anemometer does not have this problem as it lacks these components. We produce ultrasonic anemometers on single axis for use in tunnels and galleries and on more axes in U V W Cartesian components.
The two-way model specially developed for use in harsh environments is made of stainless steel mechanical components of IP65 protection level.
